Description:
A signed limited edition lithograph of a chess knight by Israeli artist Raffi Kaiser (born 1931). The knight appears to levitate against an abstracted chess board background in this whimsical work. The surreal composition features the knight atop a stand, with items scattered on the table before him. Numbered “44/175” on lower left hand side and signed “Raffi Kaiser” on lower right hand side.
Raffi Kaiser was born in Jerusalem, Israel. He studied at the Fine Arts School in Tel-Aviv, at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and later at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. His works have been popular shown in different galleries in Germany, Israel, Italy, the United States, and France.
