Primitive Wooden Knife Box- 1800’s popular

This is a fabulous antique wooden primitive knife box from the mid 1800's. Handmade in New England. These knife boxes were mostly used to hold cutlery. This box measures 12” long and 10.5” wide and is 3” high. It is made of pine and has original finish. The center of the box has a wooden 4.5” divider .

This knife box is in very good condition for it's age! There is a small split in the wood in one area on the bottom.

These boxes are rare and highly collectible. They look great as a display piece on a table or shelf and usable to hold a variety of items in the kitchen, on a desk,
etc. Also look great as table centerpieces popular with gourds or holiday greens!
