Dolls are 18” long
These dolls are handmade by me. I made them for my daughter in the 1980's. I just ran them through the washer and dryer to freshen them up after 30+ years in storage. Time to pass them on the a new family to be loved again.
Each Doll has the traditional heart with “ I love you” hand embroidered on their chest. That along with their sweet traditional embroidered faces give them the wonderful, easily recognized Raggedy Ann and Andy look. On their back is a label I added that says “Made with love by MOMMY”
Their red yarn hair was left in curls rather than being cut.
Raggedy Ann is dressed in a traditional calico print dress with an apron trimmed in rickrack and bloomers. The dress has buttons on the back but no button holes so the dress is semi permanent. Her look is completed with her red and white striped “leggings”.
Raggedy Andy is also dress in a traditional outfit with a red and white checkered shirt and blue pants with buttons. He also has red and white striped “ leggings”.
The dolls are made of cotton along with their clothes.
Both dolls are in excellent vintage condition. Please see the pictures.
They have been in our family since new and we are a non smoking home.
