Product code: Cast Iron Cauldron/Thurible/Censer - Antique WK popular Pot or Kettle - early 1900s

They don't make them like they used to. If you buy 'new' cauldrons for your altar they are of poor quality, cheap metal, made in China, and are likely to crack. I was fortunate to find this small antique cauldron. Collectable, but practical for altar use and the perfect size. Rare, you will be popular hard pressed to find one like this again, and in good condition. Marked WK 64

You can use it for your altar to scry in, burn incense (steel wool in the bottom recommended), brew something up on the stove or campfire, or to kindle a small fire in. It's solid cast iron, the old, stronger kind of iron from the early 1900's. The doubled metal chain is solid too. No cracks.

It was covered in rust, but I cleaned it. It is fully serviceable, and would need to be re-seasoned if you intend to use it for cooking.

Measures 6" wide and 4" high without chain.

If the vaguest bit of rust bothers you, you can remove the last of it with oven cleaner, leaving it in a plastic bag overnight before washing. Then you can season it again with oil, and place in a 350 degree oven one hour. I'm not fond of chemicals though, especially for magickal items, so I will leave that up to you.

Shipped USPS safely within US - heavy item.
