KERMIT N. G. Co. Chamber Pot and popular Lid

Very pretty chamber pot with lots of crazing and a small crack in the handle.
No chips. Very heavy ironstone china.

Interesting is the: “KERMIT N. G. CO MADE IN USA” trade mark.
Well known is the Derbyshire Ironstone Kermit Co in the U.K. suggesting popular that immigrants set up shop in the USA before indoor plumbing in the 1910's. The “Made in the USA” stamp may not have been required until much later.
