Sublime Antique French Gilt Framed Aquarelle / Watercolour Painting-Atmospheric Boudoir Still-Life of Jewellery Box & Flower Vase with Roses c.1940's-1950's.....Simply Stunning little piece and Given as a Souvenir,th details of which are Handwritten in a Little card found in the back of the frame. The explanation description was updated in 2006 on the reverse side of the Original Printed calling Card written by a Madame Georges Desombre but the Painting is much Older, as is the Frame circa.1940's-1950's-this is an absolute delight...

Discovered at a Brocante in a Coastal Normandy Village,in Northern France recently-this Gorgeous Vintage French Painting immediately caught my eye as I walked past the table,even though it was so Tiny,with the delightful Still Life Scene painted so beautifully with such great colour.I walked on after my initial first look but could not get it out of my mind so I went back and purchased this Charming little Piece which is initial-signed,adding to its allure making you wonder who painted this Glorious portrayal....

I purchased it quite simply because I thought it was Stunning. It is a sweet painting I would love to keep for myself but everything I choose as stock in my Shop are the items I love and they are to share with my lovely Customers so I have to keep my Business head on!

The Timeworn Gilt Frame seems to blend well though it could obviously be changed if so wished,but I think it suits.....together with Characteristic old Chips to the moulding here and there adding Charm

Beautiful piece of French Art which would Grace any Table,having an Easel Back stand,or Wall with its' Tiny Hanging ring to the reverse in any Home-especially one in keeping with a Vintage French Theme.
