Vintage LUCERNE Ladies watch, popular SWISS Made, Superb Condition, 15 Jewels, Circa Mid 1930's------Serviced-------
popular A superb example of a Mid 1930's Ladies watch by SWISS Brand LUCERNE. This watch is over 80 years old and is in remarkable condition, a true vintage classic.
The case is in excellent condition, measuring 25mm in width excluding the crown.
The original dial and hands are again in excellent condition for the age of this watch, the dial has some discreet engraving on the inner circle, a nice even patina and a small sub second dial at the 6 marker.
The crystal is new having been replaced during our service.
The snap on case back again in excellent condition.
The SWISS made movement is a manual wind SCHILD Cal AS341 with 15 Jewels, we have conducted a full service of the watch and it is running well.
Presented on an expandable stainless steel strap (Not original to the watch) but suits it well and is very practical for today's wearer. The watch will fit up to a 6 inch wrist, of course the new owner can always have the strap replaced at a later date to accommodate a larger wrist.
TPG Vintage Watches has conducted a full restoration of this watch, the movement has been serviced and calibrated to achieve the best possible time keeping for a vintage watch.
Please note that vintage watches should no longer be considered waterproof despite claims which might be made on the dial or case back.
