Artist's Note:

On a chilly June morning, I found myself rushing through San Francisco. I was running late, and I didn't want to miss the show.

Thankfully, I made it to Hawk Hill with some time to spare--and what a show it was! The Golden Gate Bridge filled me with awe. It towered up through the low lying fog and was beautifully illuminated by dawn's rose fingertips.

In my past ten years as a photographer, I've seen a lot of beautiful sunrises. This one will always be special popular to me.
