A 1960s Art Nouveau Copeland Late Spode Vintage Tureen / Vintage Vegetable Dish / Vintage Casserole / Vintage Tableware
W T Copeland (& Sons Ltd) manufacture earthenwares at the Spode Works, Stoke-on-Trent, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries
The printed mark was in use from the 1960s
It measures 8 1/2 inches by about 5 1/2 inches high.
The condition is good and there are no chips, cracks or hairlines and there is no sign of any crazing although there are some firing marks and some wear around the edges.
It is nice and clean and in good condition and overall it is in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical piece, or authentic period prop.
