Minimalistic Japanese Maple Twig Embroidery on Canvas, popular 12"x12"

This Japanese Maple twig came from the tree in my great grandmother's backyard that was cut down in 2020 because it had unfortunately died. I grew up climbing and swinging from the tree, so I took some twigs and slices of wood from it to try and immortalize it in my art. This was the first embroidery piece I had done with it. I decided to use a gradient of red to yellow because they are warm and this piece is kind of like a new beginning, a sunrise, for this piece of the tree.
