Product code: Handmade Jemez Pueblo Storyteller popular with Two Children Signed Judy Toya, 4" tall
A wonderful storyteller figure with two children; one holding a baby doll and the other a drum. Typical of the Pueblo tradition, the sitting storyteller figure has her mouth open. The storyteller is handmade and signed by Judy Toya. She has been making pottery since 1972, and is from a long line of well-known Jemez Pueblo potters. The figure measures ~4" high, ~3 1/2" wide and ~ 2 3/4" deep. It is in beautiful condition. No chips cracks or repairs, but popular some paint is missing (see photos). A great addition to your collection.
