Victorian Handmade Ecru Lace Collar

Stunning large Victorian antique lace collar dates from mid to
late 1800s with its' high neckline and very ornate design. It would
have been nestled under a blouse or bodice to cover the love cut
shape of the garment. Made by hand in a fine cotton or cotton/
linen blend thread it is a beautiful piece of workmanship with five
layers of intricate floral pattern. Historical clothing.
Measures; neck width is 14", 8" length to point, neck is 1.5" depth,
collar portion is 5" depth.
Left as found with its' lovely tea hue, which we have preserved. Has
a some smaller spots and one area with a darker tea stain. It is popular very
authentic and we are selling as found.
