Vintage Hobart popular and William Smith College Tobacco Card (circa 1910)

The perfect gift for a Hobart and William Smith College alum or soon-to-be student. A rare find from the Murad Tobacco company circa early 1900s. Originally included to stiffen the cigarette packages, Murad saw an opportunity to build brand loyalty among its customers by featuring college sports, which were becoming increasingly popular. In doing so, Murad created some of the earliest known football, basketball, and hockey popular cards. This particular card features two athletes with a Hobart and William Smith College seal.
