This 20”~26" 4mm round beads' necklace is entirely hand-knotted with the following beads on the dark brown nylon cotton cord:-

1) The Amethyst PIXIU (貔貅) Pendant measures approximately 1.1/4” x 7/8" x 1/2" thk. (3.1cm x 2cm x 1.2cm thk). The weight of the pendant is approx. 14g.

2) The 20~26” beads' necklace was 100% handmade by using 72 nos. of 4mm round natural multi-colour Fluorite bead, 2 nos. of 5mm round Onyx bead, 4 nos 4mm diamond shape Onyx bead, 6 nos. 5mm Smoky Quartz bead and 1 no. 8mm dia. x 3mm Natural Light Green Jade Chinese Coin Bead. Total weight of the necklace is approx. 26g

The length of the beads' necklace: coupled with an adjustable woven string with its shortest at approximately 20" and can be extended to a longest of 26".

~ LEGEND OF PIXIU (貔貅) ~

According to legend, PIXIU (貔貅) was the 9th son of dragon. Since PIXIU (貔貅) violated the law of heaven, the Jade Emperor punished it by restricting its diet to only wealth in all directions and sealed up its anus to prevent PIXIU (貔貅) from defecating. Hence it can only absorb but cannot expel. This ability to swallow wealth without letting it out was favorable enough for many Chinese to regard it as an auspicious symbol that brings in and preserves fortune. This powerful, bold creature is also very loyal, obedient in nature and known to protect its master with their lives has also supernatural powers to resolve all natural disasters, so beloved that people tribute it in a poem:
