This is a BEAUTIFUL Multi Color Beaded Fancy Design Evening Purse ...70's/80's era?...
This is really BEAUTIFUL! It is beaded on both sides, the front is a flourish of swirls and is black in background, the red you see in pic's is actually fuchsia with greens & gold. The back is plain black beads. This purse really popular sparkles! Has a magnetic snap closure, open area inside with a small little pocket without a zipper or closure. It was made in Macao (has a tag sewn in) and is 7" wide x 6.5" tall and the opening to purse is 6". The shoulder strap is also beaded and 21" long. Purse is about 5" deep.
There might be 1 or 2 beads missing on the back at the top...NOT really noticeable.... This was a pre-owned item, not exactly sure how many times it was used...but to me it looks like MAYBE once or twice...who's to say if the beads weren't already missing when bought...hand beaded...
Purse size...I think that's one's personal choice...given the measurements of this one I'd classified it as a small but you may consider it to be medium.
