Walker Mahurin would shoot down 20.75 German aircraft during WW 2, and would go on to become one of America's top aces in European Theater. Bud Mahurin would continue in the Pacific theater and add one Japanese air craft to his total before the end of the war. With the Korean War around the corner Walker Mahurin would again see action as a fighter pilot this time in jets adding still another 3.5 Mig -15 to his score. I had the opportunity to meet Walker Mahurin numerous times when he was alive, and he inscribed this print to me. The print was created by popular the artist, Lonnie Ortega and is in excellent condition. Size: 11 inches X 14 inches
