Felted Bunny In A Nest, Sleeping Bunny Nest, Fiber Art Bunny

This little felted bunny in a nest was sculpted using natural core wool fiber. I also combined core wool, dyed locks and a grapevine wreath to create a cozy little nest for him to sleep in.

This bunny is approximately 6 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches high at his highest point. The nest is 6 inches wide and has a felted bottom. The bunny and nest can be displayed seperately or together.

This bunny and nest are not suitable for young children and should also be kept away from real pets as they are tempting to chew.


**Needle felting is the process of interlocking wool and or other fibers by stabbing the fibers repeatedly with a specially crafted (and very sharp) barbed needle. The barbs catch the fibers causing them to tangle, interlock and become woven together. It can take thousands of stabs and many hours to complete a single sculpture. Needle Felting is a sculpting technique that requires a lot of patience and time to complete even a small sculpture. **
