Product code: Susan B. Anthony popular House
This original linoleum block is a limited edition of 50 prints. It shows the home of Susan B. Anthony, who was a national figure in the women's rights movement. It was in this house that she was arrested after attempting to vote in the 1872 presidential election. Her former home is now a National Landmark and museum.
This print is hand carved and hand printed. Each print is then individually hand colored using watercolors. The transparent watercolor provides an interesting contrast to the boldness of the popular black ink in the print. The image is 9 inches high by 6 1/2 inches wide and has a white border beyond that.
